Are You a Homeowner Facing Possible Foreclosure?

You may qualify for free or reduced-cost legal help.

The Oregon Homeowner Legal Assistance (OHLA) project provides free or reduced-cost legal services to low- and moderate-income Oregonians whose homeownership is at risk of foreclosure.

Call toll-free at 1-855-503-2598 to see if you qualify. Intake interviews are conducted Monday through Friday by appointment. Intake staff can assist borrowers in English and other languages using phone-based interpretation services.

If a foreclosure proceeding has been filed against you, contact an attorney for advice immediately. Check your paperwork for any response deadlines. If you do not respond within the deadline, you may lose your rights.
